Thermostat Manual:
The heating is controlled by a Nest thermostat. It isn’t on a set schedule, so please adjust it as needed during your stay. You’ll find it mounted on the
wall—turn the dial to set your preferred temperature. Before you leave the property, kindly switch the heating off to help save energy.
Coffee Machine:
1️⃣Add Coffee Grounds
Remove the plunger from the French press.
Add coarse ground coffee to the empty beaker.
Use about 1 tablespoon of coffee per cup of water, depending on how strong you like it.
2️⃣ Boil the Water
Boil fresh water in a kettle, then let it sit for 30–60 seconds so it is just off the boil.
3️⃣ Pour in the Water
Slowly pour the hot water over the coffee grounds.
Make sure all the grounds are evenly saturated.
4️⃣ Stir Gently
Use a spoon to give the coffee and water a gentle stir to help the grounds mix properly.
5️⃣ Place the Lid On
Put the lid on the French press with the plunger pulled all the way up.
Do not press down yet.
6️⃣ Let the Coffee Brew
Leave the coffee to brew for 4 minutes.
If you prefer a stronger coffee, you can leave it slightly longer.
7️⃣ Press the Plunger
Slowly and evenly press the plunger down until it reaches the bottom.
This separates the coffee grounds from the brewed coffee.
8️⃣ Pour & Serve
Pour the coffee into your mug straight away.
Serve black or add milk and sugar if preferred.
9️⃣ Clean Up
Empty the used coffee grounds into the bin.
Rinse the beaker, plunger, and lid with warm water.
Wash thoroughly after use and allow to dry before storing.
